flood stream table

                       Flood Stream Table

The flood stream table was very different from the standard one. There was much more water so it formed a larger delta. Also, the drainage basin was very strong and big unlike the standard one.

cool careers

                                cool careers

Here you will learn about 3 cool careers or jobs that study the science of earth.

                                             Geologist

the first job is a geologist, geologists study rocks and the different types of them. They study how rocks change overtime.

                                                        Archaeologist

Archaeologists study how humans used supplies in the wild to live. For example cavemen used animal bones for tools.

                                             Geography

Geography is the study of lands and different types of landforms and how they change overtime.

Virtual Reality

                     VIRTUAL REALITY

We saw waterfalls in the VR experience. It was so fun and educational in the same time. We learned about different types of landforms.

wadi

                                          9. WADI

It was exhausting, we had to walk 2 kilometers for our destination, I had a sprained bleeding ankle and they would not let me ride the bus for injured people and the weird thing is that there was this girl in another class that went on the bus because she told the teacher she was tired. Anyways when we reached our destination we ate while listening to geologist named Dr. Bill. Then my teacher handed out a work sheet that we had to fill out based on the information Dr. Bill gave us. After I filled out the form, the whole grade went on a hike to climb to the top edge of the canyon. While we were hiking my best friend slipped and was  dangling from the top! I pulled him up before he fell. We saw a lot of fossils and rocks. It was so fun. We had to walk way back to the bus which was 2 kilometers. While we were walking, me and my friends saw a fox but we didn't find snakes.

Why does our earths surface look the way it does?

             3. Why does the earth look the way it does?

There are many types of surfaces and grounds on planet earth. for example, there are canyons. Usually canyons are there because in the beginning it was a deep body of water, then the water vanished which caused a canyon. The second type of landform is the valley. A valley is formed by a river that erodes, this experience takes thousands of years to occur. The third type of landform is the grassy plains, this is usually a flat surface that is grassy. Usually all the farms are there. Thats some of the basic landforms in the world.
